The International Quadball Association (IQA) is thrilled to introduce the Boost Up Contest, a new initiative designed to support and empower National Governing Bodies (NGBs) facing challenges in growing their quadball communities. This contest offers a practical way for NGBs to strengthen their presence, attract new players, and develop the sport in their countries.
“This contest was born from the idea of creating an initiative that actively helps NGBs with a genuine intention to improve. We want to truly empower them, knowing how difficult it can be without the necessary budget or guidance. We have high expectations for the creativity our NGBs will bring to this contest,” said the IQA’s Expansion Manager.
How Does It Work?
The Boost Up Contest is designed for NGBs that meet certain criteria and need extra support to expand their reach. A maximum of seven NGBs will be selected to participate, each receiving $30 to invest in social media promotion. Throughout the contest, they will work towards achieving key milestones that contribute to the growth of their quadball community, such as organizing local tournaments, hosting ‘Come and Try’ events, and engaging with new audiences.
At the end of the contest period, the NGB with the highest score based on their achievements will win the grand prize of $250, providing further support for their initiatives.
