Referee Development Team Member
This position reports to the Referee Development Team Manager and will require 4-8 hours per week with the potential for more prior to major release dates, meetings, or events. This is an unpaid, volunteer position.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Attend regular meetings with the Referee Development Team and the team manager
- The creation and evaluation of referee resources, evaluation and feedback
- Collaborate with other section managers and departments as necessary to complete organization-wide projects
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- At least 2 years experience in quidditch with at least 2 full seasons as a certified match official (under certification guidelines most appropriate to the applicant's NGB)
- Experience in a gameplay related position
- Excellent knowledge of the current IQA rulebook
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and comfort with a collaborative, team-based working style
- High professional ethical standards
- Excellent written and verbal English; other languages an asset
- Regular access to email and meeting applications
- Detail-oriented
Preferred qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- Experience or formal education in adult education and knowledge evaluation preferred
- Knowledge of previous, other and adapted rulebooks is preferred
